About Shirley

Hello Families, My name is Shirley! I am CPR and First Aid certified. I'm here to help meet your kids' needs while you're away. I can oversee homework, engage in creative play, maintain a feeding and nap schedule, and more. Currently, I'm completing the final assessments to obtain my Multiple Subject Credential for K-5 teaching. I have a BA in art and 6 years of experience as a substitute teacher, teaching artist, volunteer tutor, summer camp staff, and babysitter. I also have experience working with children with special needs. At this time, I can only provide childcare occasionally. If you need more consistent help over the summer, I am available then up to FT. About me: Life long Ventura County resident. Attended school in Boston and LA. I love art, local parks, kayaking, reading, dogs, zoos, museums, Halloween, and Dia de Muertos.
