About Sherry

A little about me, I am a married mother of two children. My children are 22 and 19. We have two dogs and live in the Douglassville area. For the past two years I have been home helping my son recover from major surgery. This involved rehab and home schooling. I am happy to say he is doing well. helped my uncle care for my Aunt who was home on hospice. I enjoyed spending time with them both. Feeding my aunt, giving her meds, washing her at times. I loved talking with them and hearing their stories of a simple life growing up. It was during this time that I realized, I really enjoyed helping seniors or anyone who needed assistance. I have a cousin who had a stroke and was blind. We ran errands or shopped when needed. I have recently spent 5 months working with a woman with Dementia. My job included medicine prompting, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands and transportation to doctor appointments or activities outside the home. Anything to keep her active.
