About Shelly

The last six years of my employment has been in home health care. Prior years in nursing homes with some hospital experience. I have experience with many types of care needs such as dementia, stroke care, physical handicaps and chronic illnesses/conditions. I am familiar with most adaptive equipment and am comfortable with their use on a daily basis. As I consider it as a direct and important part of caring for an individual/s I am an adaptive cook in the event of diet restrictions and needs and or to what the individuals preferences are. I enjoy working with the elderly and being a part of making a difference in what can be difficult times for them and their families.
