Committed to the position, we had everything set in stone. She confirmed to meet up for a meet and greet at Starbucks. 24 hours before we meet, she texts me at 9:30 at night she’s going for other nannies that are paying more. Trying to charge $300 a week just to drive my kids 10 minutes up the road to school. Very inconsistent, clearly not reliable when committing to something that she couldn’t commit to. And ended up getting a lousy text message at 9:30 at night 24 hours before we were supposed to meet and she was supposed to start the position this Friday. Why commit to something if it wasn’t your comfortable pay range? Mention nothing about being uncomfortable with the pay she agreed to the pay rate. Even tried to confirm with me the day before to meet for a meet and greet. Even asked me if I was interviewing other people she wanted to make sure she was hired. I completely hired her now I’m at square one was trying to find somebody else last minute.
