About Shelby

Hi there! My name is Shelby. I am 28 years old, and a recent graduate from a Post Baccalaureate Pre-Medical program at Northeastern University. I have my Bachelors Degree in Child Psychology with a minor in Arts from the University of North Florida, and my Masters Degree in Child Development with an Infancy Specialization from Erikson Institute. I am looking to work with a family long term (for at least 12 months) while I work on pulling together my application for medical school. I enjoy the arts, especially music and spend my free time playing guitar. I am also an avid hiker and camper and enjoy being in the outdoors any chance I can get. A majority of my free time is spent reading and studying; growing my knowledge-base is one of my favorite past times. I believe in continual growth throughout life and look forward to helping your little ones learn and grow as well! Currently I work as a nanny for a family in Brookline, MA but will be relocating to the Durham/Raleigh area!
