About Shelbie

Hi my name is Shelbie I am 33 years old. I live in Covington, La but am willing to travel/commute for the right job. I have several years of experience caring for seniors, mentally and physically handicapped patients as well as children. My last job was caring for an Alzheimer's patient for 2 1/2 years. I am self-motivated and goal oriented. Thorough and precise in attention to detail; able to assume responsibility, ability to motivate family members and patients. I can help with medication management, preform all personal hygiene and care, assist with meals and nutrition, basic housekeeping and provide companionship. I also have experience with physical therapy. I have great verbal and written communication skills. I find this kind of work very rewarding and I love building new relationships.
