About Shekinah

Hello my name is Shekinah and I have an incredible passion for working with children. I graduated high school early and have completed one year of college. I am going o school for elementary education and although younger have a great deal of experience working with children. I do have a portfolio of all my lesson plans I created that also includes my CPR certification, ECE certificate etc. I come from an African family and have grown up helping watch my younger cousins and family friends children. I currently work at a day care with infants and toddlers, I also help babysit for two families. The first family I babysit for has 3 children (3, 4, and 6 years old) and the second also has 3 children (5, 7, and 10). I love getting to know kids and how they think and even learning from them. I aspire to work in education and be a teacher one day and babysitting helps me expand my experience and knowledge of how to teach children.
