About Sheila

I'm 57 & told I smile a lot, am easy going, compassionate & purposeful. I've be blessed to work w/infants, children, young adults, parents & the elderly for 20+ years. I'm nurturing by nature & light up around little ones & their furry friends because letting them know they matter is THE BEST. Whether it's a welcoming smile, uplifting words, songs, playing or cuddles, there's MAGIC in loving others. I've been a swimmer & taught many of my family/friends kiddos how to swim. Feeling safe in the water is empowering & helps during bath time as well. I'm married to a local Sheriffs Deputy, earned my graduate degree in social work w/a focus in mental health & addiction. I'm taking my LCSW Board Exam in February & choosing to step away from my career in medical social work, dementia consulting & group therapy-education from Nov 20th to March 1st. I'm looking forward to leaning back into my roots before sailing into my final career as Licensed Children's Therapist. Sheila
