About Sheila

I originally arrived in the U. S. in 1984 as a young newlywed. Two years and one child later, my husband and I moved back to our native country of Brazil. By 1992, I had three children in total, one boy and two girls and by 1996, my family and I came back to the U. S. The U. S. has granted my family and I many opportunities, including allowing me to do what I love by caring for children. Today, I have more than 20 years combined experience in caring for my own children, grandchildren, and the children of other families long term. Being a mother and grandmother has taught me many things, but the most rewarding feeling is getting to experience unconditional love. While many may consider me quirky, fun, and friendly, I also take my job seriously and care for the children of others as if they were my own. I am also an avid animal lover and have been rescuing animals (primarily cats and dogs) throughout my life. I am excited for what is to come!
