About Sheala

Though I don't have any formal babysitting experience, I am very experienced and comfortable with children. Though I have since switched my major, I was a special education major for two years, and have thus taken many childhood development and teaching courses, including completing observation hours. I also interned in a special education setting with elementary schoolers for two years. I have always enjoyed being around children, and I consider myself someone who is able to come up with lots of creative ways to not only keep kids entertained, but also to inspire them to do the things they may not want to do, such as homework or chores. While fun is important, your child's safety will always be most important to me. I don't have a car, so I unfortunately will not be able to take the kids on trips or help with errands, but I love a good walk and can help with laundry and light cleaning if needed.
