About Shea

I am currently a dual undergraduate/graduate student at UWL studying Recreational Therapy with an emphasis in gerontology. I am patient, enthusiastic, and caring. I have work experience as an activities assistant at a senior living community in Waukesha, where I worked with assisted living and memory care planning and implementing social, physical, and cognitive programs. I have prior experience teaching group exercise for older adults at the YMCA. Currently, I work in assisted living, responsibly administering medication and providing cares. I have experience with insulin injections, narcotics, and other meds. I volunteer with Special Recreation, so I have experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities. I am certified in CPR/AED/First Aid, and a certified dementia friend.
