About Shayna

Currently, I'm a PhD student in urban planning of the Univ. of Texas - a future I didn't always imagine for myself growing up. Like so many bright, young students, I didn't always get the individualized attention or support I needed to reach my potential. As a tutor, I aspire to fill that gap by providing students of all ages and abilities with the support needed to cultivate the knowledge, study habits, and confidence to challenge themselves and meet their academic goals. I am particularly interested in working with ADHD/Neurodivergent students. Using a collaborative approach, we will work together to develop strategies that enable you (or your child) to clarify your next steps, master tricky concepts, and tackle your assignments. For students requiring more specific subject-matter help, I can assist with coursework in math, history, and topics related to urban planning, as well as computer and digital literacy.
