About Shayna

Hi! My name is Shay. I am a 34-year-old college graduate - raised in the North Shore, and currently living in Chicago. I received my bachelor's degree in special education and am currently finishing my master's degree. With my degree and experience, I have been able to work with those of many varying abilities and difficulties, across a wide range of age groups. More specifically, I have experience working with both atypical and typical children aged anywhere from 3 months to 19 years. I have experience working with those who have autism, ADHD, behavioral/emotional disability, developmental delay, sensory, behavior/emotional disabilities, PTSD, cerebral palsy, and other limiting physical disabilities. I have worked within schools, but also have worked in home providing behavior therapy or as a personal support worker. I have a very young, bubbly, and positive energy. I enjoy the little things in life. I love going out and exploring, doing new activities, and being active.
