About Shayla

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, caring, and honest. I like working with kids because they bring so much joy to my heart. Working with children really has showed me how to appreciate life the way they do! I love observing their growth and development and being able to impact their lives in a positive and meaningful way. I started working with kids when I was a junior in high school. I nannied for a family friend. I have experience in nannying/babysitting, and also in a school setting. In my spare time, I like to read books, go on walks, or paint. I also enjoy spending the day with my nieces and nephews. One thing you should know about me is I am willing to get CPR certified if it makes you more comfortable. I have had CPR, First Aid/AED, and SID training and certifications in the past. My skills include patience, problem solving, and creativity.
