Over the past five years I've cared for a friend with terminal cancer, my father who struggled with COPD and congestive heart failure before his death, and my mom as she's struggled with extreme grief and unhealthy coping habits. While I have a degree in Communications, having children and choosing to stay home to raise them and then also being hit with friends and family members with great health struggles, I have found a real love for caring for people who can't do things for themselves.
