About Shawn

Hello! I'm a publications professional working in a health care system, and I've always connected well with senior people. Outside of my day job, I taught yoga and meditation to seniors for 4 years, I've worked to provide companionship and service in a senior living community, I volunteered for hospice for several years, and I have formed deep friendships with elderly people. I was also active in caring for my grandfather during his last weeks of life in hospice care, and I have experience with a beloved grandmother who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. While I don't have formal health care training, I'm happy to provide respite care for caregivers who need a break, and I can also run errands, take people to appointments, help out with cleaning or cooking, and give companionship. I'm also happy to do some light yoga or meditation with clients as well!
