Welcome to my profile! When my Nanny could no longer live alone, our family moved her in with them. At the time, I was unemployed. I took her shopping and to her doctors appointments. She was just happy to get out of the house and have someone to talk to. When my Uncle and Grandma went through similar, I was available to do the same for them. My Grandma ended up going to an Assisted Living Facility. For 2 years, I visited her 3 times a week. I'd sit and keep her company, help her bath, do her hair. In 2023, I assisted a family whose mom was on Hospice. I assisted with Light Tidying of home, Cooking/Meal Prep, Giving Medication. She was asleep most of the day but when she wasn't, we talked and laughed together! I surely miss her.
