About Sharlene

As the third of six children in my family, child care has always come as second nature to me. While I have worked primarily in senior care I also have experience caring for children over the years. I have a special needs sibling whom I have helped raise from birth and continue to do so with them now being a teenager. I truly enjoy spending time working with kids and believe in teaching healthy habits and behaviors by using their words to express how they are feeling. I have a calm and patient temperament and understand that boundaries are important both from a parent and personal perspective.
