About Shannon

Hi! I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I have many, many years of experience with children of all ages. I grew up with a daycare in my home. My first jobs were in childcare, then I got married and had one of my own. We also wanted to adopt so we went through the adoption process and traveled across the country to get our second baby boy. When he was a toddler, we became foster/adopt parents for 9 years. Now that my kids are teenagers, I've been working as a paraeducator in the SPED department at an elementary school. I thrive on helping kids feel special. I can help with laundry, meal prep, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, carpool, errands, and crafts. I am a mixed media artist so emphasis on crafts! I am an animal lover and hope you have pets. I can't wait to meet you and your family!
