About Shannon

I am married to my wonderful husband. We do not have children of our own, but we do have three gorgeous nieces and one wiggly baby nephew. Before moving to Ohio I lived in Texas where I worked at my local YMCA as a child care attendant, a swim lesson instructor and later a swim coach. I have hopes of getting back into swim coaching here in union county, Ohio. I absolutely love children. I love watching them grow into themselves. Seeing a child learning about their surroundings and the world, is so exciting. I am huge into reading and always try to get children to enjoy books as much as I do. I have been blessed with traveling Western Europe and love sharing the knowledge I gained through my experiences. I am the BEST at imagination games and hide and seek. I will admit I am terrible at video games (unless it's Super Nintendo).
