About Shannon

When I walk into a room I am evaluating if anyone is needing anything that I can help with. I love connecting with the elderly and listening to their vast experience and history. I have no trouble assisting in personal care. I worked in an assisted living home around 20 years ago now. I loved the work with the clients but not the push of the management to always be hurrying the clients along faster than they were comfortable. I lost my dad this last April. He suffered from dementia, I learned so much about how a person changes and the things that work and don't work while caring for them.
