About Shannon

In my spare time, I like to be outdoors. I enjoy hiking, biking, and going for walks. On cold or rainy days, I like to read. One thing you should know about me is I hold a philosophy that one of the most important tools for learning is through play. I plan to initiate this tool in daily interactions with your child(ren). My skills include working with children ages infant through 18 for 40 years. I worked at a childcare facility for 12 years. The final two years of that experience was as the assistant Director of the Center . I held a teaching degree and license, and taught pre-K through high school for 30 years.
