About Shannon

I am a very proud and blessed mother of a 4-year-old autistic boy. He is the reason you are here on my page reading this today. I have my Associate in Science - Early Childhood Management (graduated 08/2022), finishing my Bachelor of Arts - Early Childhood Development and Early Intervention, and I am Adult/Child/Infant - CPR/First Aid/AED certified. I am constantly looking for ways to educate myself and grow professionally when it comes to Early Childhood. I believe in positive to neutral reinforcement/discipline. I believe discipline should only be used as a guide, never a punishment. In my free time I enjoy going to the skating rink and cruising on my quads, going to the state park or a nice and empty beach, walking around my neighborhood while pulling my son in his wagon, blasting my favorite songs and singing along badly in the car, going to the zoo on cool days and learning new animals facts from my boy, and winding down from a long day by sewing in the quiet with my two cats.
