About Shanique

Hi everyone, I am a social worker with more than 12 years of experience with children/adults/being a caregiver. I am the oldest of 10 children and have played an influential part in their upbringing . I have experience working with autistic children and adults as well as those with developmental delays. I pride myself on my patience, compassion, and desire to motivate others. I love to cook, help others, and spend time outdoors. I believe that it takes a village when it comes to raising children/family. I'd describe my personality as bright , adventurous, and witty. I like working with kids because I understand the importance of forming good connections in childhood and having fun. I love being around kids because they bring out the playful side of me. I started working with kids from the age of 6. In my spare time, I like to Watch TV, take walks, read, and cook. One thing you should know about me is I am dependable. My skills include empathy, compassion, and patience.
