About Shakira

Hi! I am 23 years old based in Wilson, NC. I am a teacher assistant, for a middle school! I was a bilingual TA as well as math tutor. I have small nephew/nieces that I've cared for and I also volunteered at a daycare and helped care for kiddos from ages 2-4 . I am currently in college majoring in health information technology & am an administrative assistant full time as well. I like working with kids because they're so cool and they pick up on so many things. You never know what's going on in their brains and how much they can learn! I'm looking for a job that is supportive of my college schedule, allows for flexibility, and lets me in as one of their own! I started working with kids when I was offered a TA position in January! In my spare time, I like to color, watch Young Sheldon, read, build legos, and go to the Y! One thing you should know about me is that I speak Spanish and I love math! My skills include tutoring, mentoring, and play time!
