About Seth

I am a recent college graduate in the process of applying for my MFA in Writing. I enjoyed tutoring my friends and underclassman during undergrad but didn't start tutoring professionally until senior year where I graduated as a triple major in English, Japanese, and Asian Studies. My final research project in English was focused on traditional literary theory and criticism in relation to genre. That said, I have taken extensive coursework across the large subject that is "English." I also did all of this during the pandemic, and it often was through a computer screen. I am excited to meet new students and help them better understand their coursework, as well as share my personal tips and tricks to working through the unique challenges of remote learning.
