About Sequoia

Hello! My name is Sequoia! I have worked for an after school program for the elementary age group along with their summer camp, ensuring safety, good role modeling, and creating a fun atmosphere! I have also watched kids from 1 to 4 years old as well, ensuring safety and following parents routine! I also enjoy time with older kids as well, ensuring safety, giving them a sense of independence, and trying new things! I'd describe my personality as funny, genuine, and passionate! I like working with kids because of their authentic take on life! I'm looking for a job that is part time! I began working with kids when I was 14 at a summer camp! In my spare time, I like to workout, dance, roller skate, spend time with animals and nature, play games, and spend lots of time with my family! I am CPR, AED, and First Aid trained! My skills include active listening, creating an atmosphere where children feel free to express themselves, and problem solving!
