About Schontal

I was a Nutrition Educator at Harlem Children Zone for PreK, where I developed lesson plans centered around nutrition, gardening, and life science education. My love for children and my genuine interest in their growth and development makes me a dedicated caregiver. Your child's supervision means I will create a safe space for kids to be kids while engaging them with interactive, age-appropriate activities and games that will help them focus on fun while learning rather than being sad that mom or dad isn't nearby. Since I am an extension of you, the parents, please let me know if there are any house rules that you would like me to reinforce in your absence, such as how much time should be dedicated to watching TV, homework, or reading time, and what you want your kids to eat. I do not mind providing homework help, assistance with assignments, or even being a tutor for math and reading as I am currently completing my Master's in Health Informatics and Information Management.
