I have 20+ years of experience teaching grades K-5. In addition to an ESOL certification, I am certified in grades P-5, Middle Grades 4-8 in Lang. Arts, Math, & Social Sciences. I have a strong record of success. My experiences provided me the opportunity for distinctive professional learning and growth. TV news, radio, and several publications, have recognized various endeavors I initiated throughout my years as an educator. In addition, I have demonstrated success with test scores, and consistently held the highest Student Growth Profile and Teacher Evaluation Scores in my school. I was also recognized in the top 20% of teachers in DCSS.
