About Saundra

I love spending time with family, playing outdoors, reading, enjoying a good laugh, and enjoying good food with good company. I can carry a descent conversation in Spanish. If you were to ask any of my associates what my greatest strengths are they would tell you, "She is positive, dedicated, competent, punctual, and fun." If you were to ask my family members they would tell you I am their "go-to-person" to watch their children. I fell in love with the world of care giving from my first client, a Down syndrome lady who was a joy to be around, and then she moved home to NY with her Mom to be closer to extended family. And since then I have provided care for a lovely little lady (in her mid-twenties with severe mental disabilities) for a few years. I'm comfortable with a wide range of age groups, cooking, feeding, cleaning, shopping, changing diapers, reading stories, and keeping a routine schedule. (I'm also willing to be flexible with longer hours when needed.)
