About Sara

Hi! I have been teaching since 2006, but moved into homeschooling and tutoring in 2013. I have a masters in Special Education and Early Childhood, including additional certification in Early Intervention, birth to 5. I love working with kids, and I have tons of experience developing and delivering engaging, fun, interactive curriculum to children from PreK-6th grade. In addition, I excel at helping kids improve their understanding of classwork, and have proven results in raising their grades. I am also a certified yoga and meditation practitioner and teacher, trained specifically to work with kids. I can help kids learn to regulate their emotions through movement and breath. Plus, it's fun! CPR trained, own transportation, flexible hours, excellent references upon request.
