About Sara

Hi prospective families, I'm Sara! I have a B. S. in Biology from USF, a professional certification in Child Life, and am a Newborn Care Specialist. Since I was younger, I have always loved working with children of all ages. Being the oldest of four, I helped to raise my younger siblings and also babysat all through high school and college. Professionally, I was a full time nanny in Washington, DC for 8 years. I've also interned as a teacher assistant in a special needs preschool, worked as a child care associate at a gym, and was a youth group adviser for children in grades 3-8. Some of my favorite activities include playing outside and participating in arts & crafts. I'm a trustworthy, reliable, and energetic individual with a passion for working with children. Currently, I'm a stay at home mom to two boys (ages 2. 5 and 10 months), and hoping to take care of an additional child during the weekdays.
