About Sara

I have been in the education field for almost 8 years now, and I am currently a first grade teacher in Arkoma schools. I have two of my own little ones at home, and I have been taking care of kids (siblings, my own, and other's) my whole life! I'd describe my personality as patient, bubbly, and hard working. I like working with kids because they are the future of our world! I started working with kids when I was a teenager. My mother died, and I gained emergency custody of my siblings. I gained an internship at a private school my senior year, then continued my education degree while remaining a teacher's assistant until I was able to have my own classroom. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with my two children and husband, and teach. My skills include teaching any elementary academics (especially learning to reading and write), teaching children to regulate emotions, phonological and alphabetic awareness, and any aspects of childcare.
