About Sarah

Hello! My name is Sarah . I'm an experienced public school teacher with eight years of experience working with students who need an individualized approach to their learning. I am certified in Maryland to teach Special Education (K-12), Elementary and Early Childhood Education, and I am also certified by IMSE to provide Orton Gillingham instruction. I have a special place in my heart for children with learning differences or frustrations, because I know how dearly they need someone who understands them and offers encouragement. I have a "No-Drama" discipline approach to setting expectations that focuses on building the skills students need to be successful not just in school but as independent adults.
