About Sarah

Ever since I was 12 years old, I have babysat and nannied children from newborns to 16 years old. I have always have had a passion for taking care of children. Currently, I am taking a year off at Harrisburg Area Community College and transferring to another school the following year. I am considering a career in Children Education major. I am a hard-working student with a 3.2 GPA. I have worked at Dutch Wonderland to Lancaster Science Factory to Special Olympics on many different college campuses. Lancaster Science Factory is a hands-on, interactive technology and science center for children of all ages. I volunteered on the main activity floor, with children on a one-on-one basis. Some of the children had physical and intellectual disabilities. I helped with crafts or provided instruction in the environmental classroom. I have the ability to be dedicated and focused on prioritize and completed multitask. One of my quirks about me is I love to help children with their homework in all the subjects, and then come up with music games to help them remember what they are studying.
