About Sarah

I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, driven, and upbeat! I like working with kids because children are the future, and I believe it is important as adults to show children love and care to help them grow to become their very best! I'm looking for a family that I can blend well with, and be an extension of the parents to their children when they are away. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old, as a babysitter! I have since worked as a preschool assistant teacher, and after school care teacher, child development worker, and substitute teacher. I am currently half way through getting a bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education. In my spare time, I like to play with my dogs, go on hikes, go to church, play tennis and bake! One thing you should know about me is I truly love and care for every child in my care! I believe the most important qualities with working with children include patience, compassion, and consistency.
