About Sarah

For the past 17 years, I have spent a big part of my life taking care of the elderly. I acquired my CNA certification in 2007 and spent a short time working in an extended care facility and most of my time there was spent on a dementia unit. However, life happened and I ended up having to find a career that suited the needs of my family and new role as a single mother. At this time and since then, I have spent a wealthy quantity of my time after that career as a second income for my family intermittently taking care of some of the elderly men and women at request of their families in their homes or their children's homes. I always include housework and cleaning as well as meal preparation and medication management. I have been trained and and worked for an awesome physician as a medical assistant, so I am also able to give medication orally or through inter muscular injection, as well as breathing treatments therapy and I also am able to take and document vital signs, etc
