About Sarah

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, kind and empathetic I like working with kids because they are able to see hope and love in the world so easily. Kids are resilient through difficult situations and figure things out about themselves, others and how the world works in general. I started working with kids when I was just a kid. I helped lead vBS and worked as a camp counselor in high school and babysat through college. Professionally I earned my degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Kent State in 2014 and have worked on and off with both kids and adults in a social work type setting since. In my spare time, I like to get as much time with my 5 nephews as possible. I enjoy watching sports, cooking and generally spending time with my friends and family. One thing you should know about me is that although I've stepped away from professional social work (due to heavy workloads, broken systems and state/office politics) I still care about caring for others.
