About Sarah

I've owned a successful pet care business for over 12 years. I've so been a foster mother to teens (ages 15-19) and found that to be my most challenging and rewarding position thus far. I'm new to Richmond and looking for part time care-based work as I move toward my long-time goal of obtaining a Masters in Social Work. I also have a dream to create co-housing situations for teens aging out of the foster system, wherein they would have affordable safe housing, an adult support system and access to continued "life" education. I believe any experience I can continue to gain caring for seniors, children, and/or special needs individuals will give me a sense of personal fulfillment and building blocks for my above goals. I'm upbeat, strong in personality, respectful, honest, detail-oriented and have a great memory regarding details and tasks.
