About Sarah

For over five years, I have helped students reach their academic goals as an elementary classroom interventionist. As a former autism coach, I have learned how to work with students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. It was amazing to help one of my students reach their goal of reading chapter books and emerging with a better understanding of the story. Additionally, I privately tutored AP students of Art History, Human Geography, and US History when I lived in Denver, and was excited to see all five of my consistent clients pass their exams with flying colors. I came to Chicago for my PhD, and I would love to encourage more students to enjoy learning. For elementary aged students, I like to implement new and interesting methods to teach mathematical concepts. For example, I love performing card tricks to teach addition, subtraction, and fractions. For AP Art History students, I prepare virtual museum tours so students can immerse themselves. Let me know how I can help!
