About Sara

I am a Special Education Resource teacher at a public school in a northwest suburb of Chicago. I have tutored students from my district over the summer months the past three years. These students ranged from ages 7-10 and had varying academic abilities and needs. Throughout my five years of teaching, I have worked with students with a wide-range of academic needs in the areas of reading fluency and comprehension, mathematical calculation and problem-solving, written expression, and listening comprehension. The majority of my responsibilities and instruction take place within the general education setting; therefore, I must align all of my goals and curricula to state standards.
