About Sandra

I'd describe my personality as joyful, positive, and conscientiousness. I like working with kids because they are fun and I always learn something new from them. I'm looking for a job where I can come alongside and support families by helping tutor their children in a positive way and add value to what parents are already doing for and with their children. I started working with kids when I was about 15. When I went to college I knew whatever I did I wanted to work with children so I became a teacher. I've been in education for 27 years. In my spare time, I like to be outside in parks, walking, kayaking, biking, and being at home reading, drinking tea, baking cooking, being with friends and family, and dancing. One thing you should know about me is I try to make the best out of every situation. My skills include age appropriate communication, Active listening, patience and perseverance.
