Caring for people holds a profound significance for me. My journey in hospital volunteering, particularly with hospice patients and veterans at the VAMC, has left an indelible mark on my heart and ignited a passion for serving. During my time volunteering, whether it was sitting by the bedside of a hospice patient, offering comfort and companionship in their final moments, or engaging in conversations with veterans, hearing their narratives of valor and sacrifice, each encounter reaffirmed the importance of compassion and human connection. With a background in Human Resources, my commitment to caring for people remains unwavering. There's an inherent fulfillment in spending time with people, while listening to their tales of yesteryears, and providing a comforting presence. I approach caring for people with genuine empathy, dedication, and respect. I understand the importance of trust when it comes to entrusting the care of a loved one.
