About Sam

Hi there - my name is Sam. I am an actor, musician, and interactive game designer, and I've worked in the childcare and tutoring worlds for over 8 years now. I recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University's Drama program, and am new to Los Angeles. I spent three summers working at the sleep away Camp Tawonga in Yosemite as a bunk counselor and nanny. I am responsible, empathetic and energetic, can manage working one on one or in groups, and am excellent at conflict resolution and appropriate limit setting. And most importantly, I really enjoy connecting with kids! In addition, I have played Dungeons and Dragons for 10 years, and am available to run games for groups of children - I have some sessions scheduled and can add more if need be. I have experience with all age groups, and would be thrilled to use my design and acting training to spin a fantastic story for your kids.
