About Sammie

Hi my name is Sammie! I've been babysitting and taking care of kids for about 13 years, during which I worked with a lot of different ages. I've worked as a camp counselor and a lifeguard (5 years) both of which provided me with special safety skills like CPR and First Aid. I have past experience working as an after school nanny so I'm comfortable being out and about with kids in the city. I grew up with dogs and cats and have done lots of pet sitting and dog walking so I'm comfortable around animals. I speak fluent English and I have a very basic understanding of French. I grew up in Chicago and moved to New York to pursue my acting career. I love to dance, swim and do art (painting, drawing, crafting of any kind). I'm not great at sports but I'll always try! I believe that children should definitely have times during the day in which they're being physically and mentally active, which might include exercising or reading a book!
