About Samantha

Hi parents! My name is Sammy and I am a recent college graduate from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Wellness Coaching. While attending school, I also earned my CPR and Basic Life Support certificate. I am no stranger to working with kids! My long term career goal is to be a pediatric occupational therapist! This past spring, I spent a semester working at a pediatric outpatient therapy clinic in Brownsburg, Indiana where I led group therapy sessions for the preschool age group all the way through grade schoolers. I was working primarily with children with learning disabilities and special needs, teaching and promoting emotional regulation tactics, fine motor skills, executive functioning, etc. I am currently living back home in Springfield for the next 6-12 months before going to grad school, so I would love to lend a helping hand while I'm back :)
