I believe having a caring and reliable nanny is important. Being the oldest of four children I have had plenty of experience taking care of my siblings from infancy to toddlers and on. I consider myself to have a very motherly nature. I do have many months of professional experience working in daycare. As an assistant teacher I worked with age groups from infant to preschool. It was clear I had a strong passion working with toddlers (18 months to 3 years) and was offered the lead toddler teacher position within a few months of starting. This position entailed creating lessons and activities based on a given curriculum, taking children to the playground, maintaining a daily routine and managing meals and nap time. I understand that things can come up and cause schedules to change, because of this I make sure to keep a flexible schedule. The first few years of a child's life are the most important, this is why I believe in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children.
