About Samantha

I am currently a certified elementary teacher. My experience with caring for children is looking after my younger brother and cousins as I was growing up. In high school I babysat a lot of kids ranging from 5 months to 14 years old. I have also worked with children with special needs in programs in high school and college such as adaptive aquatics, special Olympics, and best buddies. At the University of Connecticut I also worked with a diverse group of children in a classroom setting that range from 6 weeks-5 years. I have also worked as a paraprofessional at an elementary school and work with students with autism who range from 5 years to 8 years old.
