About Samantha

My interest in working with the elderly started in high school when I took health occupation in the 11th grade. completing taking vital signs and personal hygiene. In the 12th grade I got a job working in Madison nursing home as a nurses aide. The whole 12th grade year I enjoyed helping the elderly giving them bathes, brushing teeth, dressing them and feeding. I work at a nursing home in conyers after I graduated from high school in 1998 doing the same thing but working as a certified CNA. I was working with elderly with Alzheimer's and Dementia, disability issues such as being paralyze, illness such as cancer, diseases, patients that was bed bound. I work there til 1993 after I had my first born. I got back into helping the elderly after my grandmother became very ill and I had to move in with her and help her out til her death in 1998. I went back to school took some courses for two yrs in 2009
