About Samantha

Hello! Hola! Bonjour! My name is Samantha and my passion throughout my 30 years has been foreign languages and how to master them. Growing up as a Latina in this country, I have embraced my Mexican roots and the essence of American culture. I picked up French as a challenge and ended up mastering all three languages: English, Spanish and French. I believe in second-language acquisition through the method of immersion. Students will be exposed to their language of study through music, short stories, poems and non-fictional current events. A natural extrovert, I will guide tutee's through conversation by meeting them where they are in their learning process. Every student's experience differs; whereas some students may have a very hands-on approach, others may encounter more auditory/speaking exercises. Lessons are tailored to the student's proficiency level. Total beginners are welcome; if you need a challenge, bring it on!
